We are seeking an experienced and dedicated WordPress Developer with excellent backend and MySQL skills to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for creating exceptional websites, leveraging their expertise in backend development and MySQL optimization to ensure seamless performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and custom themes, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
2. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to create and implement website features and functionalities.
3. Optimize website performance through backend improvements, including MySQL database optimization, caching strategies, and server configurations.
4. Develop and integrate custom plugins and APIs to extend the functionality of WordPress websites.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and compatibility problems.
6. Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.
7. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into projects as appropriate.
8. Provide technical support to clients and team members, addressing any development-related issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 1+ years of experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
3. Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web development technologies.
4. Excellent backend development skills, with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
5. In-depth experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and query performance tuning.
6. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
7. Knowledge of web performance best practices, including caching, CDNs, and server optimization.
8. Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility testing.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

1. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services.
2. Experience with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder).
3. Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility guidelines.
4. Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as WooCommerce.
